Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Mission

What is MANU’s mission?

MANU exists to provide dignity through food. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, nutritious meals regardless of their economic situation. Our mission is to engineer food solutions for the hearts of communities, ensuring that no one has to choose between quality and affordability.

What does “Dignity as the Standard” mean?

It means we refuse to compromise on quality just because someone has limited resources. Every jar we produce, whether sold or donated, meets the same high standards. We believe nutritious, carefully crafted food is a human right, not a luxury.

How does the “One for One” model work?

For every jar of our products that is purchased, we commit to donating an equivalent jar to families in need through our MANU’s Table Initiative. This ensures that our community impact grows directly with our business success.

About Our Products

What products does MANU offer?

We currently offer premium sourdough bread and peanut butter. Each product is carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients and traditional methods. Our product line focuses on items that provide both nutritional value and the dignity of enjoying well-made food.

Are your products organic/locally sourced?

Yes. We prioritize working with local suppliers and sustainable sources whenever possible. All ingredients are certified organic.

Ordering & Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We offer free shipping on orders over $50 within our local delivery area. For nationwide shipping, rates vary based on weight and destination.

How long does delivery take?

Local orders are typically delivered within 2-3 business days. Nationwide shipping usually takes 5-7 business days. All orders are carefully packaged to ensure products arrive in perfect condition.

What is your return policy?

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at info@simplymanu.com. We’ll work with you to make it right, whether through a replacement or refund.

Community Impact

How can I nominate a family for MANU’s Table Initiative?

We work with local community organizations, schools, and social services to identify families who would benefit from our program. If you know a family in need, please email us at info@simplymanu.com with details, and we’ll coordinate with our partner organizations.

Can I make a direct donation to support the initiative?

No, but you can donate directly to our non-profit partners, currently Urban Oasis Project.

How do you ensure fair wages for your employees?

We believe dignity extends to our workforce. All MANU employees earn a minimum of $30/hour because we believe that those who help provide dignity to others deserve to live with dignity themselves. This is part of our commitment to building a sustainable, values-driven business.

Wholesale & Partnerships

Do you offer wholesale pricing for retailers?

Yes, we work with select retailers who align with our mission and values. For wholesale inquiries, please email us at info@simplymanu.com with information about your business and we’ll send you our wholesale pricing and terms.

Can MANU cater events or provide bulk orders?

We’re happy to discuss bulk orders for events, corporate gifts, or special occasions. Contact us at least two weeks in advance at info@simplymanu.com to discuss your needs and we’ll create a custom solution for you.
