Who we are
Simply MANU Inc. is a Florida benefit corporation making peanut butter in Miami-Dade County. You can reach us at info@simplymanu.com, which is the fastest way to ask about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and a phone number if you give one. We keep a record of what you ordered and when. If you create an account we also keep your username and password, stored encrypted.
When you simply browse, our hosting and analytics tools record your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the site you arrived from.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Square. Your card number is entered on Square’s systems and never reaches ours, therefore we cannot see or store it. Square holds that data under its own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded and the last digits of the card.
Shipping and tax
Your shipping address goes to the carrier that delivers the parcel, and to WooCommerce Shipping, which buys the label. Sales tax is calculated by a Stripe Tax service that receives the destination address and the order total.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site sets cookies so the cart remembers what you put in it and so you stay logged in. It also runs the following third-party services, each of which sets its own cookies and receives usage data.
- Google Analytics and Google Site Kit, for traffic measurement
- Google Listings and Ads, for product listings and advertising
- Pinterest for WooCommerce, for product listings and advertising
- Jetpack, for site statistics and security
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and the login will stop working if you block them entirely.
We email you about an order you placed. We do not sell your address, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details stay until you ask us to delete the account. Analytics data expires on the schedule each provider sets.
Your choices
Email info@simplymanu.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will confirm the request and act on it. Deleting an order record is limited by the accounting rules above, so we will tell you what has to stay.
Children
This store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
